Opening Ceremony

Pathways School Noida is hosting the PSNMUN’19 from the 7th to the 9th of August. The theme for the PSNMUN’19 conference is “Evolving Climates: The Seven Revolutions for 2035”.

The conference began with an exciting opening with an engaging address from our Chief Guest, Mr Praveen Swami, National Editor of the Indian Express. This was followed by the school band performing Billy Joel’s “We Didn’t Start the Fire”, a song about major political and environmental events during that time.

After the opening ceremony, the Delegates dispersed from the hall and proceeded to their respective conference rooms. The committee proceedings began with an explanation of the procedures and an ice breaking session between the Executive Board and the delegates for each committee. Once the sessions began, we were witness to exciting debate and perspectives brought up during session. By the end of the day the delegates were fired up to be back for committee sessions and had already decided motions for the next day.
