Training Sessions

The days leading up to the conference

On the weeks leading up to the conference, we had training sessions for the Executive Board members and the Secretariat. These sessions were conduct-ed by representatives from Skill-Sphere, MyMUNWorld. These sessions focused on refreshing the procedure of a conference as well as understanding how the EB must conduct their sessions to make it engaging and interesting for the delegates.

Apart from combined session for basic procedure, the Executive Board was trained to manage their sessions and judge the committee proceedings. This was done through giving examples of lobbying and resolution writing as well as conducting a mock conference to understand the procedure from the perspective of the Executive Board. The Secretariat was also briefed on how debate is conducted is conducted in committee and how to help delegates who might be facing issues of all kinds, how debate is conducted in committee and how to help delegates who might be facing issues of all kinds.

Since this is a middle school MUN, the PSNMUN expects many delegates to be attending their very first conference. The Secretariat and Executive Board are ready and equipped to help the delegates and attending schools in any way possible. We look forward to making the PSNMUN’19 the best experience for everyone involved!
